Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month 2025: Giving Back to Our Communities

Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor the rich culture, history, and contributions of the Hispanic community. At Mambo Seafood, we believe in celebrating not just with our flavors, but by giving back to the communities that inspire us!

This year, we’re proud to support two incredible communities: Segundo Barrio in Houston and the Avenida Guadalupe Association in San Antonio.

Segundo Barrio Children’s Chorus – Houston
The Segundo Barrio Children’s Chorus is Houston’s first and only Spanish-language bilingual children’s choir, based in the historic Second Ward. They provide tuition-free music and vocal instruction, helping niños embrace their cultura, language, and traditions while building confidence and community pride.

Avenida Guadalupe Association – San Antonio                                                    Since 1979, the Avenida Guadalupe Association has strengthened San Antonio’s West Side through affordable housing, financial education, and community programs.This organización plays a key role in keeping San Antonio’s Hispanic heritage alive and thriving.
