Back-to-school season is all about new beginnings and at Mambo Seafood, it’s also a time to celebrate the teachers and school communities that help make those new beginnings possible.
As a Houston-born, family-owned restaurant, giving back to the communities we serve has always been close to our heart. This back-to-school season, our Teaching Made Mambonifico initiative gave us an opportunity to show our appreciation for local educators through teacher food donations and school supply donations.
Supporting Teachers Beyond the Classroom
Teachers spend so much of their own time, energy, and resources making sure their students have what they need to succeed. As students headed back to the classroom, we wanted to find a way to support the people behind the scenes making it all happen.
Helping Local Schools Stock Their Classrooms
We also wanted to support teachers where they need it most -their classrooms.
Through our Teaching Made Mambonifico initiative, Mambo Seafood donated up to $500 in school supplies to local schools to help teachers and students kick off the new school year.
From everyday classroom essentials to supplies that help teachers create a positive learning environment, our goal was to help local educators start the school year with a little more support.
A Back-to-School Season Full of Mambonifico
For us, being a Houston restaurant means being more than a place to grab a plate of seafood. It means being part of the neighborhoods, families, schools, and communities that have supported Mambo Seafood for 30 years!!
Our back-to-school efforts are one small way we can return that support.
We’re incredibly grateful for the teachers, administrators, and school staff who dedicate their time to helping Houston-area students learn, grow, and thrive. Their work impacts our entire community, and we’re proud to celebrate them.
At Mambo Seafood, we believe that community tastes better when we’re all in it together.
